Welcome to Thrapston FoodBank, part of the Encompass charity
Food bank for Thrapston and surrounding villages
We are a FoodBank that provides parcels of food, toiletries, and cleaning products to those facing financial crisis. We are not a long-term solution but aim to work with individuals to resolve financial challenges and provide food and household support during that time.
Thrapston Foodbank supports local families.
Please call us on 07907 343373 for a quicker response.
Open Tuesdays 10:30am till noon.
We offer food parcels for people who are experiencing immediate financial crisis. This might be because you’ve lost your job, you are unable to work, you’ve had a relationship breakdown, an unexpected bill, or there have been delays in your benefits. It could also be something else.
You can receive up to 10 parcels within a year. For this we do ask you for some paperwork and details. This is to help us to support you best, and help us keep a record of how many people we do support as well as why they have come to us.
If you need more than 10 parcels, we may ask you to work with us to try and resolve the challenges you are facing. This could be doing some budgeting work, working with you to resolve debt, looking at your benefits or asking you to work with another agency.
We do this because we have limited stock as we rely on donations, and because we do not want anyone to have to rely on a FoodBank
