Thrapston Food Bank operates on a self-referral basis. You do not need to be referred by someone to come and see us.
Visit us during our opening hours to get a food parcel. Every Tuseday, 9:00am – 12 noon at Thrapston Baptist Church, St Paul’s Gardens, Thrapston, NN14 4FE.
We offer food parcels for people who are experiencing immediate financial crisis. This might be because you’ve lost your job, you are off sick, you’ve had a relationship breakdown or there have been delays in your benefits. It could be something else too.
You can receive up to 8 parcels in a year's period and for this, we do ask you for some paperwork and details. This is to help us help you, and help us keep a record of how many people we help, and why they have come to us.
If you need more than 8 parcels, we may ask you to work with us to try and resolve the challenges you are facing. This could be doing some budgeting work, working with you to resolve debt, looking at your benefits, or asking you to work with another agency.
We do this because we have limited stock as we rely on donations, and because we do not want anyone to have to rely on a foodbank where they don't need to.
